Course: ECE438 Digital Signal Processing;  Grade: Senior Year
Although I have 4 hours of office hour, 1.5 lab hours and 2 hours of help session each week, teaching seems to be fun for me, at least in the first couple of weeks. Most American students are working really hard. They have so many questions. My advisor asked me if I was shocked by their poor mathematics. Indeed, I was shocked. They do not even know how to manipulate the absolute value of an expression. However, most of them are quite honest. They do their homework by themselves, no matter how long might it take. They come to my help sessions and ask tons of questions. I feel good, because at least most of them do not copy others' homework. So I'm very nice to students. The quizes I gave are quite easy. But half of students cannot get a satisfying score. Maybe next time I'll make the quiz easier.
